Traffic slow and heavy as residents return to capital

Coming and going: The scene at Terminal Bersepadu Selatan (TBS) in Kuala Lumpur, with passengers returning from the long Maulidur Rasul/Christmas weekend, while others are buying tickets to go for their holiday trips in the coming days.

PETALING JAYA: Traffic movement was slow and heavy, clogging several major highways following an increase in the number of vehicles heading back to the capital.

A spokesman of the PLUS Expressways Sdn Bhd Traffic Control Centre said traffic began to increase from 11.30am yesterday and remained heavy in the afternoon.
