Focus on strengthening unity, PM urges Muslims

PETALING JAYA: Malaysia’s transformation into a high-income nation will be based on wasatiyyah (moderation) and maqasid syariah (objective of Islamic principles) as the core principles of the administration, said Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak (pic).

“Based on this, we will continue to be consistent istiqamah (steadfastness) and work towards developing our beloved country,” he said in his Maulidur Rasul message posted on his blog yesterday.
