KUALA LUMPUR: All offices of the Immigration Department and passport issuing offices except in Kelantan and Terengganu will be closed for four days from Thursday in conjunction with Prophet Muhammad’s Birthday and Christmas Day as well the weekend.

The Immigration Department said in a statement that its branch offices at all the urban and rural transformation centres in the country would also be closed during the period.

Its offices in Kelantan and Terengganu would be closed for only three days and would reopen on Sunday, it added.

The public can address their queries to the Immigration Department operations room at 03-88801555. – Bernama
