KUALA LUMPUR: A man fell to his death from the 16th floor of a hotel here.
The 53-year-old businessman, identified as Lee Chee Ming, was clad in a dark grey T-shirt and a pair of light grey shorts when he was discovered on the ground floor.
KL CID chief Senior Asst Comm Datuk Zainuddin Ahmad said police were alerted at about 7.15am yesterday.
“He was pronounced dead by a medical team that rushed to the scene,” he said.
“We found three cigarette butts and 14 sets of fingerprints in his room,” SACP Zainuddin said.
“At the moment, we are still investigating as to how and why he was there,” he said, adding that Lee was from Desa Melayu, Bandar Baru Nilai.
