KUALA LUMPUR: Thirteen people, aged 25 to 31 years, including nine female foreign nationals, believed to be working as guest relation officers (GRO), were nabbed in Ops Noda here, Wednesday.

Principal Assistant Director of the Organised Crime Unit, Tactical 3 Gambling/Vice/Secret Society (STAGG) Bukit Aman SAC Khairi Ahrasa said the 13 were nabbed in an operation in Jalan Metro Pudu 1 at 1.15 am.

"We also arrested two men who were believed to be a worker and a manager of the premises and two women 'mummy'. Cash RM7,987 and other items such as a crown and a garland were also seized," he said when contacted by Bernama today.

He said preliminary investigation revealed that the GRO at the premises could be taken elsewhere and offered sex upon request.

"A hiding place had also been built behind a stage to facilitate escape. The crown and garland mean that a client is taking a GRO out," he added. – Bernama
