KUALA LUMPUR: From next year, cheap sales will only be allowed if more than 70% of the goods at a premises are offered at a discount.
Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Consumerism Minister Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainudin said traders would also have to display the lowest price the item was sold for 28 continuous days prior to the sale, as well as the previous sale price.
