GEORGE TOWN: The RM27bil Penang Transport Master Plan (PTMP) may not be able to take off if the proposed 4,000-acre reclamation project in the southern coast does not take place.
Penang Local Government, Traffic Management and Flood Mitigation Committee chairman Chow Kon Yeow said this would cut down the number of PTMP projects which could be carried out in a big way and the RM6bil LRT would definitely be ‘gone’.
