JOHOR BARU: A 57-year-old woman escaped the gallows after the High Court here reduced her drug distribution charge to possession due to reasonable doubts raised on the facts of the case.
The accused, Long Say Lein, who worked as a cleaner at a renowned hotel in Singapore, was allegedly caught in possession of some 2,259.7g of methamphetamine at the Central Bus Terminal along Jalan Trus here at around 6.30pm on Jan 5 last year.
