Murmur against Guan Eng grows into a shout of protest

GEORGE TOWN: The oft-heard murmur in Penang political circles calling for the ouster of Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng became a shout yesterday when a group of unidentified people held up banners depicting that sentiment outside the Penang DAP annual convention venue.

Standing by the road leading to the Equatorial Hotel, a group of about 20 men and at least one woman held up banners with messages such as “Lim Guan Eng Balik Melaka! (Go back to Malacca, Lim Guan Eng!)”.
