Boy with cancer gets wish to meet TV idol

Wish comes true: Aznil (left) singing ‘Happy Birthday’ to Saiful surrounded by his family, (from second left) dad Ali, mum Emmi and sister Norizatuliyah, with CWS members, Promenade Hotel staff and the Big Wheel Group in Kota Kinabalu.

KOTA KINABALU: Despite his pain, 10-year-old cancer patient Muhammad Saiful Ali broke into a smile when he got the chance to meet his idol, TV host Datuk Aznil Nawawi.

Saiful, who was seen lying on three chairs put together due to his weak condition, could not respond much to those around him at the restaurant but he grinned when Aznil arrived to chat with him.
