Probe on Umno seven completed, says Ku Nan

KUALA LUMPUR: The probe against seven errant Umno members has been completed and the investigation papers will be submitted to the party's disciplinary committee soon, said Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor.

The Umno secretary-general said that after the disciplinary committee had studied the papers, the matter would be then left to the supreme council to decide on the action to be taken,” he said at a press conference called here Thursday.

Tengku Adnan, when asked for the identity of the seven members, declined to name any but hinted that several members of the supreme council were on the list.

Recently sacked Gopeng Wanita Umno chief Datuk Hamidah Osman was not on the list, he said.  – BERNAMA
