KOTA KINABALU: Three Europeans who won an all-expenses-paid trip to Malaysia to see its palm oil industry for themselves have found that the situation here is not negative as it was made out to be by the anti-palm oil lobby in the West.
“I can now tell my friends back home that the palm oil industry in this region is not like what some of us perceived,” said Stefano Cossu, a 39-year-old graphic designer from Sardinia, Italy.
