GEORGE TOWN: Preventing an enforcement officer from carrying out her duty proved to be a costly affair for two men, who were sentenced to jail and ordered to do community service by a magistrate’s court here.

Mechanic Leong Wai Loon, 19, was ordered by magistrate Sharifah Izura Syed Mashor to do 150 hours of community service while former air-conditioner repairman Bok Kwong Shen, 25, was jailed for three days and fined RM5,200, in default three months’ jail.
