PUTRAJAYA: Food operators who hire foreign workers tend to take a more lackadaisical approach on cleanliness, said Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr S. Subramaniam.
He said checks during the recent typhoid outbreak showed that 36% of food handlers who were foreigners did not have their typhoid vaccinations, compared to only 3% of locals.
