IT is official. The Asean Community (AC) is here today, at least on paper.

Like their predecessors who signed the Bangkok Declaration in 1967 and the Asean Charter in 2008, Asean leaders were eager to have their signatures imprinted on the two historic documents – the 2015 Kuala Lumpur Declaration on the Establishment of the Asean Community and the Kuala Lumpur Declaration on Asean 2025: Forging Ahead Together.
