Businessman willing to meet Sabbaruddin to settle RM1.1bil suit


KUALA LUMPUR: Businessman J. Deepak Jaikishan wants to meet Tan Sri Sabbaruddin Chik (pic) to find a possible settlement of his RM1.1bil libel suit against the former minister for allegedly implying he was a controversial businessman.

Deepak is suing Sabbaruddin, who is the former Bank Rakyat chairman, and author Shahbudin Husin for defamation in relation to repayment of a bank loan.
