ALOR SETAR: The Kedah Government will only give allocations to private Chinese secondary schools (SMCP) if the state has the financial resources, said Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Mukhriz Mahathir.
“Kedah’s ability to do so is limited as can be seen from the state’s 2016 Budget, and requests for such allocation must be rational. This SMCP allocation issue has been politicised by the Opposition. Education should not involve politics.”
