Hsien Loong, Najib speak of close ties

KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak and his Singaporean counterpart Lee Hsien Loong spoke of the close ties between the two countries as they jointly launched Titian Budaya's carnival titled Next Door at Publika. 

In his opening speech, Lee likened Malaysia and Singapore's relationship to the Malay proverb bagaikan aur dengan tebing (like the bamboo and the riverbank), "each relying on each other for mutual survival."
