KUALA LUMPUR: The Asean Senior Officials’ Meeting has finalised preparations for a crucial summit that will dictate the future of the regional pact as member countries prepare to sign a landmark declaration on the Asean Community.
Wisma Putra secretary-general Datuk Othman Hashim said the meetings saw extensive deliberations on a number of issues of mutual interest, ahead of the arrival of heads of state from Asean and their dialogue partners on Friday.
