MMEA seizes RM365,000 in smuggled cigarettes

PORT KLANG: The Malaysian Mari­time Enforcement Agency (MMEA) has foiled an attempt to smuggle in thousands of cartons of cigarettes off Tanjung Tumbuk in Selangor. ‎

MMEA Klang enforcement chief First Admiral Mohd Aliyas Hamdan said a patrol unit encountered a suspicious fibreglass boat with no registration number about two nautical miles off Tanjung Sepat at about 9.30pm on Friday.
