Crewmen attacked by group over request to make way for docking

GEORGE TOWN: Two Penang ferry crew members were assaulted after one of them told a group of 11 men to move away from the front of the ferry as it was about to dock at the Raja Tun Uda Ferry Terminal in Weld Quay here.

The 38-year-old victim suffered a broken rib when he was punched, kicked and assaulted with crash helmets while the other crew member sustained minor injuries when he helped his colleague.
