PETALING JAYA: The home decorating trend for 2016 will lean towards understated elegance – with muted earth tones for the walls and the personality of the home owners are shown through accessorising, says the interior design firm owner with 20 years’ experience.

“Greyish or grey-brown tones for the walls and to add some brightness, throw in colourful pillows or rugs,” said Adrian Wee, principal of Impression Design & Contracts Sdn Bhd.
