PUTRAJAYA: The long-standing controversy of whether the students of SM Chong Hwa Kuantan can sit for the Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) has finally come to an end.
Deputy Education Minister Senator Chong Sin Woon has given the assurance that the students could take the UEC examination, which is only meant for those from Chinese independent schools.
