Najib: Proactive steps are why programmes benefiting rakyat can continue


PUTRAJAYA: Despite a weak global economy, the Government can still proceed with its programmes to benefit and prosper the people, including the country’s 1.6 million civil servants.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak (pic) said on Monday that this had been shown in Budget 2016, which was tabled on Oct 23, where incentives and salary increments for civil servants were announced.
