Afif: Works minister should explain toll hike instead of state govt

GEORGE TOWN: Works Minister Datuk Fadillah Yusof should explain the reason for the toll hikes instead of blaming the Penang government for failing to abolish the Sungai Nyior toll.

PKR Youth deputy chief Dr Afif Bahardin said it was annoying of Fadillah, who was reported by an online portal blaming Penang for failing to abolish the Sungai Nyior toll, to make such a statement as it was common knowledge that the issue of toll comes under the jurisdiction of the Federal Government.
