SINGAPORE: The Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) wants the National Security Council to assess and adopt disaster management models proposed by experts at a security conference held here on Tuesday.
Bukit Aman’s strategic resources and technology department deputy director Datuk Azri Ahmad said Malaysia still had a lot to improve upon in coordinating operations during floods and other disasters, adding that the conference was a good platform to learn and prepare for the future.
