KOTA KINABALU: Police shot dead a suspected drug addict about an hour after he brutally stabbed his 75-year-old grandmother to death at their house in Kg Lok Urai in Pulau Gaya here.
Kota Kinabalu police chief Asst Comm M.Chandra said that the 27-year-old suspect had stabbed his grandmother at least 12 times after she refused to give him money for his drug habit at about 7pm on Sunday.
