PETALING JAYA: Earlier this year, the parents of a 21-year-old accident victim agreed to donate their daughter’s heart, kidneys, liver and bones.
One kidney was successfully transplanted in the same hospital where she died. The other was sent to a public hospital, but it was not used because the “artery was too short”.
