Green light for 11 new Sarawak state seats


PUTRAJAYA: A Sarawak assemblyman and a voter have failed to obtain leave to appeal against the notice of recommendations by the Election Commission (EC) for the state's proposed re-delineation exercise. 

On Thursday, Court of Appeal president Justice Md Raus Sharif, who chaired the three-man panel at the Federal Court, dismissed the appeal by Batu Lintang assemblyman See Chee How (pic) and Pauls Baya, a voter in Ulu Baram.
