Seri Setia rep charged under Public Assembly Act again


PETALING JAYA: Seri Setia Assemblyman Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad plans to challenge the Public Assembly Act after he has been charged again for the third time under the same Act that he was acquitted of last year.

The Selangor State executive councillor was charged again at the Sessions Court here yesterday under Section 9 (1) of the Peaceful Assembly Act for failing to notify police 10 days prior to the Blackout 505 rally at the Kelana Jaya Stadium held on May 8 two years ago.
