Cops deny supporters permission to see Khir Toyo before jail sentence


Supporters and members of the media were not given access to see Khir before he was to be taken to Kajang prison.

PUTRAJAYA: Supporters of Dr Mohamad Khir Toyo did not get their chance to bid a final farewell to the former Selangor mentri besar after police denied a request to see him before he was taken to Kajang prison.

Members of the media were also not granted access to the court lockup area as only family and close friends were allowed to visit.
