PETALING JAYA: A father’s wish came true when a Malaysian citizenship was approved for his son after seven years with the help of Datuk Dr Wee Ka Siong.

Born to a Malaysian father and a Vietnamese mother, Lim Zi Xiang, 10, was not acknowledged as a Malaysian citizen as the marriage documents of his parents were not recognised.
