Flash flood fails to dampen festive spirit

GEORGE TOWN: A flash flood which inundated Rosni Mat Yusof’s house on the eve of Hari Raya Haji did not dampen the festive mood of the factory worker and her family.

Rosni, 50, and her eldest daughter Fazira Mahdzir, 20, got up early yesterday to prepare fried bihun and fried chicken for the celebration despite staying up late the previous night to clean up their house in Kampung Nelayan, Teluk Kumbar.
