KUALA LUMPUR: Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar has thanked The Star  for publishing a caricature of him that thanked police for their crowd-control efforts during Wednesday's "red shirt" rally.

Khalid thanked The Star via his Twitter account saying in a tweet: "On behalf of @PDRMsia, TQ akhbar The Star."
