SHAH ALAM: Malaysia is facing a severe shortage of competent railway engineers, even as it basks in the golden age of railway building now.
“This shortage has resulted in rampant staff pinching in the sector and hampers our ability to retain talent,” said Raja Azura Raja Mahayuddin, chief executive of Yayasan Peneraju Pendidikan Bumiputra (YPPB), a foundation tasked with uplifting the skills and knowledge of bumiputra professionals.
