KUALA LUMPUR: The Himpunan Rakyat Bersatu rally at Padang Merbok has ended without incident.
The crowd started dispersing at about 5.30pm Wednesday after organisers read a 14-point resolution.
Among the resolutions was for the Internal Security Act (ISA) or laws similar to it to be brought back, to defend the stability of the country and Rukunegara against racial and chauvinistic politics, and to reject the involvement of foreigners in the running of the country.
Many thousands of red shirted protesters descended on Padang Merbok to listen to speeches.Did you find this article insightful?
