PETALING JAYA: Malaysia Day should be celebrated with activities that show national unity and the people's love for the country, and not tainted by racist elements, says Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin (pic).

The former deputy prime minister, in a post on his Facebook page Tuesday, said the Sept 16 rally was generally viewed in a negative light by the public, despite the organisers saying it was to champion the sovereignty of Malays.
