Utusan fails in second bid to include Anwar's sodomy conviction in defence statement


KUALA LUMPUR: Utusan Melayu (M) Bhd has failed in its second bid to include Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim's sodomy conviction in its statement of defence over his defamation suit against the publisher.

High Court judge Justice Hue Siew Kheng dismissed the application and ordered the company to pay Anwar RM8,000 in costs.
