UKM student leader discharged from hospital following attack


PETALING JAYA: Pro-Mahasiswa UKM president 22-year-old Muhammad Syahir Rahimi Sukri has been discharged from Serdang Hospital on Monday afternoon following an attack on the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) campus early on Monday morning.

"His injuries were not terrible, he had three slashes across his chest and on both arms. His condition is now stable and he has been discharged from the hospital. We condemn this attack and hope those who did it are brought to justice," said Pro Mahasiswa UKM immediate past president Abdul Kahar Hamzah.
