PETALING JAYA: CIMB Group chairman Datuk Seri Nazir Razak (pic) took a swipe at the red shirt rally organisers, saying they won't find him wearing the colour on Sept 16.

“On Sept 16, I will be celebrating diversity – racial, religious, cultural - that defines Malaysia. I won't be wearing red,” Nazir posted on his Instagram account.

Nazir, the younger brother of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak, posted a picture of people of various races in their traditional garb holding the Jalur Gemilang.

The red shirt rally, meant to raise the dignity of the Malays and counter the Bersih 4 rally on Aug 29, will gather protesters in Bukit Bintang and Petaling Street before marching to Padang Merbok on Malaysia Day.
