PETALING JAYA: The waste-sorting scheme would take effect in eight regions today, but solid waste management expert Dr Theng Lee Chong is unconvinced that this would help reduce trash.
“People will still consume as usual, it’s just that now it’s more of a concern of segregation,” he said.
