KUALA LUMPUR: For the some two million households across the country starting to separate their garbage today, many are still unsure how to actually carry this out.

Tan Chai Hock, 79, from Ujong Pasir, Malacca, who is a committee member of the Ujong Pasir Resident Association, said about 40% of the residents there were senior citizens, and they would face difficulty to separate the wastes.
