JOHOR BARU: Tan Sri Shahrir Abdul Samad (pic) who is one of the country’s longest-serving members of parliament, is quitting politics soon.

“This is my last term. I will not contest in the next general election,” said the Johor Baru MP, who is also the Barisan Nasional Back­benchers Club chairman.
