PETALING JAYA: Penang Umno Youth has described the state government as “unpatriotic” for highlighting political sentiments in the theme for the state-level Merdeka celebrations.
“Penang Umno Youth supports the action taken by the Penang Education Director Datuk Osman Hussein who ordered all schools in Penang to not participate in the 58th state-level National Day Parade,” said the party’s state youth chief Rafizal Abdul Rahim in a statement on Friday.
