Woman in critical condition after car plunges from third floor of carpark


GEORGE TOWN: A woman was badly injured when her car plunged from the third floor of a car park at an apartment in Taman Pekaka near here.

It was learnt that the woman who is in her 30s, is a resident of the apartment.

Sources said the woman was leaving the car park when her car lost control on the third floor, ramming into a wall and falling to the ground floor.

She was half conscious when firemen retrieved her from the car, and a doctor who was passing by provided her with some first aid assistance before the arrival of the ambulance.

She was sent to the Penang Hospital by the ambulance at around 1pm.
