KUALA LUMPUR: The Federal Territory Islamic Religious Council is applying to be an intervenor in the case of a clerk who is contending that she has the constitutional right to import religious publications with the word “Allah” to practise her religion.
The court has fixed Sept 18 for clerk Jill Ireland Lawrence Bill, and the Attorney-General’s Chambers to reply to the intervener’s bid.
