Malaysia-Brunei checkpoint opening hours to be extended

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: The immigration and customs counters at all border checkpoints between Sarawak and Brunei will be opened from 6am to midnight daily - an extension of two hours from the 6am to 10pm system that had been used for decades.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Najib Tun Razak and his Brunei counterpart Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah on Tuesday reached a decision on the extension of the operating hours for the border crossings following their four-eyed meeting at the palace here.
