PETALING JAYA: Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin has refuted being a traitor to Umno by conspiring with Selangor Mentri Besar Azmin Ali and Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng to overthrow the Prime Minister.

Muhyiddin said this in response to an allegation that he was dropped as deputy prime minister not because he was critical of 1Malaysia Development Berhad, but because he was plotting with Azmin and Lim to oust Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.
