IGP slams reports citing 'sources' over Saturday's arrests

PETALING JAYA: Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar (pic) has slammed news reports citing "sources" that a deputy public prosecutor had been arrested on the instructions of the Prime Minister.

"Berita2 yg memetik 'kata2 Sumber' spt dibawah adalah sungguh tidak bertanggungjawab dan berniat tidak baik. @PDRMsia (News reports that use 'the words of sources' are extremely irresponsible and have bad intentions)," said Khalid in a tweet together with a screenshot of an online portal’s newsflash.
