GEORGE TOWN: A total of RM2.9bil in foreign direct investments poured into Penang in the first quarter of this year.
The investments were channelled in through the coordinated efforts of Malaysian Industrial Development Authority and the Federal Government, said Penang Federal Action Committee chairman Datuk Zainal Abidin Osman.
